Korach, no matter how just or well-meaning your intentions were when you launched that mutiny, lama Tisnasu, aqahal Yisrael, korach, along with your 250 rabble-rousers. It didn't have to be this way, that you didn't have to be swallowed up by the earth along with innocent young babies. If you just would have listened to Moshe's pleas. But because of your intransigence, because of your inflexibility, you were so stiff, so rigid, you didn't hear Moshe's words and now innocent young babies had to die.

God punishes you with the same attribute that you live life with that your young children that are young enough that they don't have the attribute of justice to ever punish them.

But when you act with the only midah of strict justice, with no sort of rachamim, with no sort of seeing it from another point of view, when you act with kamakosha, kamakosha comes and even attaches itself to your children and everyone goes down with the strict attribute of justice that you live life with. Ladies and gentlemen, save the babies, don't fight. It's not worth it, especially and most prominently, if it's not for the sake of heaven. It's just not worth it, because when you are so intransigent and unwilling to budge, terrible things happen.
